About Chad

Dr Chia-Yen (Chad) Chiu is an Associate Director at the Centre for Workplace Excellence (CWeX), UniSA Business, University of South Australia.

He holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York.

Chad’s research interests include team leadership, positive leadership, and social networks. He has published in multiple top peer-reviewed journals in the academic field of organization research, such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and Human Relations. He currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Human Relations

He also teaches various courses related to people management in organisations, including Human Resource ManagementOrganizational BehaviorOrganizational Leadership, and Business Research Method.
